Ever wondered how to make artificial reefs & homes for fish that last 500 years? Join us this weekend to fabricate reef balls! Reef Balls are a spherical module w a hollow center for fish to live in & lay eggs w a rough pH neutral & coral friendly exterior for coral eggs to land & grow, becoming a natural coral reef very quickly. They are a key artificial reef solution worldwide with over 2 million reef balls deployed worldwide in over 80 countries. During this event, Poni Foundation will also donate 50 reef balls to 10 local fishermen participating in the program to create their own fishing grounds.
