السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته *May Allah make this month the month of the forgiveness of our sins and the raise of our ranks, may Allah make us steadfast in this Ramadan and after Ramadan until we meet Allah ﷻ.* By Administrator
Narrated Abu Hurairah [رضي الله عنه]: Allāh's Messenger said: ❝Whoever observes Saum [fasts] during the month of Ramadān out of sincere faith, and hoping to attain Allāh's Rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven.❞ [Sahīh Bukhari, (1/38) | Translated By Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan]
إذا كان أولُ ليلةٍ من شهرِ رمضانَ صُفِّدَتِ الشياطينُ ومَرَدةُ الجنِّ ، وغُلِّقتْ أبوابُ النارِ فلم يُفتحْ منها بابٌ ، وفُتِّحَتْ أبوابُ الجنةِ فلم يُغلقْ منها بابٌ ، ويُنادي منادٍ كلَّ ليلةٍ : يا باغيَ الخيرِ أقبلْ ، ويا باغيَ الشرِّ أقْصرْ ، وللهِ عتقاءُ من النارِ ، وذلك كلَّ ليلةٍ Abu Hurairah [radiyallaahu-anhu] reported that Allaah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] said, "When the first night of Ramadan comes, the devils and mischievous jinns are chained up, and the gates of the Fire are closed, and none of its gates are opened. The gates of Paradise are opened and none of its gates are closed. And a caller (i.e. an angel) cries out: ‘O seeker of good, proceed, O seeker of evil, stop.’ And Allah has necks (people) whom He frees (from the Fire), and that happens every day.” Saheeh Al-Jaami 759
Why Is It Called Ramadān? Imām Ash-Shawkāni [رحمه الله] said: ❝It is called Ramadān because it burns away sins; meaning, it burns them by way of righteous deeds.❞ [Fat'h Al-Qadīr, (1/2120) | Translated By Raha Batts]
