The Workers Council is holding its 1️⃣1️⃣th meeting with the Company on Wednesday February 19th. 👀 Stay tuned to our channels where we will update you with what we will discuss there. 🔥 There are two other upcoming meetings: On Wednesday as well, the next Equality meeting will take place. And on Thursday 20th, the Health & Safety Council is meeting for the first time this year. 🎉 We would also like to celebrate the Council’s 2nd anniversary. 🎂 ✊ Thank you for trusting us these two years. 📰 11TH MEETING WITH THE COMPANY SUMMARY 📰 Hey team 👋 On Wednesday, February 19, we held the 1st meeting of the year with the Company. 1️⃣ IMPROVEMENTS ON OUR SITE 👉 The Company confirmed that we are expecting the arrival of plants in the office soon, and updated us on the challenges faced with the plants supplier. There will be other improvements regarding resting and wellness areas, which will be communicated asap. ❇️ In Fetico we’re happy our feedback was heard and is soon to be implemented. 2️⃣ DISAGREEMENT ON THE COMPANY’S DESITION TO ABSORB SENIORITY 👉 The Company acknowledges our position regarding this topic. ❇️ In Fetico we will keep bringing this matter to the table and work hard to get a positive outcome. 3️⃣ FOLLOW-UP ON THE WORKING CALENDAR DELIVERY ❇️ We finally received the calendar for 2025, as we had been requesting for several months. 4️⃣ FOLLOW-UP ON THE REQUEST TO INCREASE THE WFH COMPENSATION 👉 The Company told us that this request has not been included within the Benefits for 2025. ❇️ Fetico acknowledges the importance of good economic conditions for the employees and will keep fighting to improve this compensation. 5️⃣ OPTION TO GET 12 PAYS INSTEAD OF 14 💬 Some of you were considering switching from 14 payments to 12 (with the double payments prorated over the year). 👉 The Company is checking if the internal systems can be adapted, that is why we do not have an answer yet. ❇️ Fetico believes that this flexibility is a step towards the employees needs individually being considered. 6️⃣ INCREASING BREAK TO UP TO 2 HOURS 💬 We requested the Company to increase the maximum amount of time we have to take our “lunch” break to 2 hours, which would improve the work/life balance, as well as wellbeing and recreation. 👉 The Company responded there is no plan currently to change the breaks due to the organizational and health & safety constraints. They reminded us that they are still applying flexibility when special circumstances are required. ❇️ Fetico believes that every employee is responsible to manage their working duties and it should be compatible with expanding this break to two hours without changing the business organization. 7️⃣ MEDICAL HOURS IMPACT 💬 We asked the Company how they plan to adapt Annotation Analysts’ Time Grading in case of medical hours. 👉 The Company confirmed that there is no system to adapt time grading since it will have low impact on analyst’ time grading since it’s a benefit that should be used sporadically. ❇️ We understand the Company’s answer and we expect leadership to take individual performance as expected. 8️⃣ SANCTIONS COMMUNICATION ❇️ We’ve reached an agreement on how to proceed when the Company needs to communicate a sanction to an employee ensuring the best conditions in terms of waiting and the option to choose a specific Works Council delegate to be present. 9️⃣ EXPANDING ALREADY EXISTING BENEFITS 💬 We requested the Company to improve the 200GB free iCloud storage to a higher tier, to add more Media Services (Apple TV+, Arcade, Music, etc.) like they have in Retail and to update the Fitness Reimbursement which hasn’t been updated since more than 10 years. 👉 The company told us that the iCloud upgrade is not on the table to be improved. About Apple Media Services, that is focused on Retail to help Specialists know the services we have. And regarding the fitness reimbursement, they are studying to improve it, but no timeline was mentioned. ❇️ From Fetico we believe that all employees should have equal benefits that should be reviewed periodically to avoid depreciation.
