What changes can we expect to see from yesterday's Spending Review announcements? The chart above shows that *half of the increase in day-to-day funding is going to health and social care*, where spending will increase by £30 billion between 2025/26 and 2028/29. Other large funding increases are going to education, defence, and the Scottish and Welsh governments.
