Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations. And then the end will come. Note on God's kingdom at 4:17. Jesus preached the “good news” of the kingdom (4:23; 9:35). It is good news because it sets forth the reign of God among men and calls people to willingly submit to God and enter His kingdom. The preaching and teaching of the kingdom was prominent throughout the ministry of the apostles (Acts 8:12; 20:25; 28:23, 31; Rom 14:17; 1 Cor 4:20; 6:9; Gal 5:21; Eph 5:5; Col 1:12-13; 4:11; 1 Thess 2:12; 2 Thess 1:5; 2 Tim 4:1; Jam 2:5; 2 Pet 1:11; Rev 1:6, 9). This work is not yet finished but is going on throughout the earth. There are still some places, some tribes where the gospel has not gone. When every “nation” has heard it, the end of the age will come. In the Bible the words translated “nations” usually means simply non-Jewish peoples whoever and wherever they may be.
