What is a weekend for others has long been a second life for Karl ‘Charly’ Mönig from Müllenbach: At the age of 14, he started driving tractors across the wet meadows here at the Ring to rescue cars from the mud - today he coordinates the car parks at major events with up to 80 employees! Whether as a ticket inspector between campers, night watchman in Hocheichen or responsible manager of large car park zones: Charly was and is everywhere where things are going at the Nürburgring. 🚗💨 For over five decades, he has been shaping the experience for more than hundreds of thousands of guests in the background! 🤘 Thank you, Charly - for so many years of commitment, passion and legendary stories.
