Dear God, I ask that you provide me with wisdom for the areas in which I lack it. I desire to follow your guidance and no one else's, because only your wisdom is profitable. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
The best one to turn to, in times where we need wisdom, is God. God is the one who holds all wisdom that is profitable to our lives. When we ask, He will readily give. We can receive wisdom in many ways โ through other believers, through reading God's word, and through prayer as well.
Paul and Silas were in a very discouraging situation โ they had been arrested, beaten and placed in prison for doing nothing wrong. Anyone else in that given situation would have been in tears, discouraged by their circumstances. Paul and Silas chose to pray and sing hymns to God. This account ends with them miraculously escaping jail. Prayer can also help us in times of despair; it can open doors for the miraculous to occur. When we resort to praying, we are going over our emotions and setting our minds to God's faithfulness instead. That, in itself, is defeating the plan of the enemy, who was only interested in keeping you down.
It is in times of fasting and prayer โ spending time with God โ that we are exposed to his instructions for our lives and the people around us. We have all been called to be ministers of the Gospel, in different capacities. We have to spend as much time with God โ through prayer, fasting, and in His word โ so that we remain in the path He has set for us.
God's grace, that comes through His Son, Jesus Christ, is always there for you in every situation in your life. God's grace is there to help us overcome the sins we may struggle with. It is also there to help us through this life we live on this earth. God's grace never leaves us.
Dear God, I thank you for the mission you have called me to. Lord, I pray that as I spend time communing with you, may I be quick to hear your instructions and to obey them. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.๐
Baptism in Christ simply means that our lives have become totally immersed in His Life. As Christ died and resurrected, we have done so too, through baptism. This is why we have a 'new life'. We have become new creations in Christ and we are to live this way.
Dear God, I thank you for your faithfulness and the blessed assurance I have in you, that I am in Christ and He is in me. Father, I thank you that there I no situation that is bigger than you. Lord, I pray that in any time I find myself in despair, may I focus on you and your goodness. I will always remain hopeful and I will find a reason to rejoice. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Dear God, I thank you that I can always turn to you and the grace that you give abundantly. Father, I ask that your grace may help me in every single area I struggle with. I thank you that I can always rely on you, Lord. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Dear God, I thank you that I have my security in you. Despite what may try to come my way and redefine me, you are always there to remind me of who I am, and for this I am grateful. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.๐๐๐
