Today, we're going to explore James 5:7-8, which says: "Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near." In these verses, James encourages us to be patient and wait on the Lord's timing. Just like a farmer waits for the right season to harvest his crops, we must learn to wait on God's perfect timing. Waiting on the Lord requires trust, faith, and patience. It means surrendering our timelines and agendas to God's sovereign plan. When we wait on the Lord, we demonstrate our trust in His goodness, wisdom, and love. As we wait, let's remember that the Lord's coming is near. He is always working, even when we can't see it.
