🚦Update on A4095 traffic lights🚦 The temporary traffic lights by the George & Dragon have now been removed. An officer from our network management team has visited the site after I escalated this to the head of the team this morning. There will be some traffic management in place during the day (9:30-3pm) but other than that delays should now be significantly reduced/removed. Thank you for the patience whilst we got this matter resolved.
🙏🏻 Thanks again to the Stop Botley West team for holding a public meeting in Hanborough this afternoon. My view has always been consistent against this proposal and like many others I to see solar on roofs not fields. Or perhaps over parking spaces at P&R sites… ✍️ If you are yet to do so, please make sure you register as an interested party. You can easily do this here: https://stopbotleywest.com/home There is also a crucial meeting of the development control committee at WODC on Monday. It’s now time for the Lib Dems to get off the fence and make their views known to government and vote NO to this proposal. I think it’s terrible that the Lib Dem Executive Member for Environment (and also a District Councillor for Hanborough) has sent her apologies for this crucial meeting on Monday and she didn’t show up today.
🔴🎥 They don’t like to hear it but today I made my views clear at the District Council about the incompetent coalition we have running things and why simply asking residents to keep paying more whilst services aren’t improved cannot continue to be the case whilst they waste OUR money.
