**Valentines SNT update ** While out on patrol, Officer 7109EA spotted something that could have easily led to trouble—a set of keys, including car keys, left dangling in a front door lock. 🔓 The homeowner was shocked; they genuinely thought the keys were safely inside. This was a lucky catch, but it’s a reminder for all of us to be extra vigilant. 💡 Top Tips to Keep Your Home & Vehicle Safe 1️⃣ **Remove Keys from Doors:** Even if you’re just popping in for a minute—those few seconds matter. 2️⃣ **Store Out of Sight:** Avoid leaving keys in obvious places like hall tables or near windows. 3️⃣ **Use a Key Safe or Hook:** Keep your keys organized and hidden from view. 🔑 **Did you know?** Most burglaries are crimes of opportunity. An unlocked door or visible keys can make you a target. Let’s make it harder for them! Stay safe. Stay vigilant. Protect what matters.


*Chadwell* Officers from the Chadwell team patrolled hotspot areas carrying out a number of stop and searches, resulting in four individuals being arrested for immigration offences. In addition, officers recovered a quantity of suspected Class A drugs. Officers also visited local faith venues during their patrols, building relationships with community leaders and listening to residents’ concerns.

*Seven Kings* Early morning patrols by the Seven Kings team resulted in three arrests for immigration offences.


*Hainault SNT* Hainault SNT and Redbridge Councillors, conducted a street briefing with the local residents of BAYWOOD SQUARE. This was a great opportunity to work collaboratively with the local Councillors to address the concerns the local residents are facing in Hainault.


*Seven Kings* In order to keep the community safe, the Seven Kings team have been engaging with local retailers to ensure knives are sold responsibly.


Live Facial Recognition cameras were back in ILFORD this week. During the operation, officers arrested 8 people who were wanted for various offences. Live Facial Recognition Technology is used in order to be more precise in how local officers tackle crime and identify wanted offenders. Dave Holgate, Acting Chief Inspector for Neighbourhoods, Redbridge, said “We are committed to making Redbridge safer, using data and technology to target those offenders that pose a risk to our communities”. *Seven Kings* The team joined up with Chadwell officers for a mix of plain clothed and high visibility patrols yesterday. A number of stop and searches resulted in multiple drug seizures that were dealt with proportionately. There was also an arrest following a stop for an immigration matter.
