25 वर्ष पहले, बसंत पंचमी के इस शुभ दिन पर, जब मैंने अपनी कार की खिड़की से बाहर देखा, तो कई शादी के जोड़े सड़क पार करते नजर आए। वे सभी विभिन्न सामूहिक विवाह समारोहों में जा रहे थे। मैं भी उन्हीं में से एक था। ठीक 25 साल पहले, मैंने सामूहिक विवाह में शादी करने का निर्णय लिया, सादगी को भव्यता पर प्राथमिकता दी। उस समय मैं बेल्जियम से अपनी पीएचडी कर रहा था। मैंने एक साधारण विवाह को चुना। मैं चाहता था कि दूसरे भी ऐसा करें, लेकिन इसकी शुरुआत मुझे खुद से करनी थी। आज, अपनी 11 साल लंबी एनर्जी स्वराज यात्रा के माध्यम से मैं इस विचार को वैश्विक स्तर तक ले जाना चाहता हूं कि संसाधनों का उचित उपयोग होना चाहिए क्योंकि हमारी धरती का आकार सीमित हैं। आप सभी को बसंत पंचमी की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ। माँ सरस्वती हम सभी को प्रकृति के अनुरूप जीवन जीने की बुद्धि प्रदान करें।
