Did you know that… ⚠️ Over 200 diseases are caused by eating contaminated food. 🥘 1 in 10 people worldwide fall ill from contaminated food each year. 👶🏽 40% of the foodborne disease burden is carried by children under 5. 💵 US$ 110 billion is lost each year in productivity and medical expenses resulting from unsafe food in low- and middle-income countries. Foodborne illnesses are usually infectious or toxic in nature and caused by bacteria, viruses, parasites, or chemical substances entering the body through contaminated food. 💡 Access to sufficient amounts of safe and nutritious food is key to sustaining life and good health. 🍎 Safe food supplies also contribute to food and nutrition security, support national economies, trade and tourism, and underpin sustainable development. Food safety is everyone’s business, here’s what you can do: *Practice* safe food handling at home: keep it clean, separate raw and cooked food, cook food thoroughly, keep food at safe temperatures and use safe water and raw materials. *Learn* how to keep food safe before, during, and after emergencies, such as floods, fires, natural disasters or the loss of power. *Know* how to report poor hygiene standards and misleading food labelling. 🤌 Scleroderma :- also known as systemic sclerosis, is a group of rare diseases that involve the hardening and tightening of the skin. It may also cause problems in the blood vessels, internal organs and digestive tract. 🩺 Symptoms :- Everyone who has scleroderma experiences a hardening and tightening of the skin. Scleroderma can affect any part of the digestive system, from the esophagus to the rectum, It also causes Heart and lung problems . 💡Causes:- Scleroderma results from an overproduction and accumulation of collagen in body tissues. Collagen is a fibrous type of protein that makes up your body's connective tissues, including your skin. Doctors don't know exactly what causes this process to begin, but the body's immune system appears to play a role. Most likely, scleroderma is caused by a combination of factors, including immune system problems, genetics and environmental triggers. 💉 Treatment :- While there is no cure for scleroderma, treatments can ease symptoms, slow progression and improve quality of life. #medcare👍

_Breaking News: New HKU5 Coronavirus Strain Discovered in Bats 🦇🔬_ A new coronavirus strain, HKU5-CoV-2, has been discovered in bats by a Chinese research team. While it has the potential to transmit to humans, similar to Covid-19, _no human infections have been reported yet_ 🙅‍♂️. According to Dr. Opas Karnkawinpong, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health, "The discovered HKU5-CoV-2 strain is a genetic variation within the Merbecovirus genus and is not classified as a new or mutated virus." 🙏 Researchers found that the binding pattern between HKU5-CoV-2 and human enzyme ACE2 differs from other Merbecoviruses, leading to a hypothesis that it may pose a risk of animal-to-human transmission 🚨. However, Dr. Opas assured that the risk of direct bat-to-human transmission remains low to moderate, and the public need not be concerned at this time 🙏. Thailand's Ministry of Public Health has a robust international disease surveillance and prevention system in place to monitor emerging viruses 🌟. As a precautionary measure, Dr. Opas recommended preventive measures remain the same as for other respiratory viruses like influenza, Covid-19, or RSV: - _Avoid crowded places_ 🚫 - _Wear a mask when necessary_ 🎭 - _Practice regular hand hygiene_ 🚿 - _High-risk individuals can receive vaccines_ 💉 Stay safe and stay informed! 📊

Urine is produced by the kidneys not from the digestive system, but from the blood. How? 🤔💡 🤔 Urine is produced by the kidneys 🌟, not the digestive system 🚽, but rather from the blood 💉. The process involves blood filtration, nephron function, glomerular filtration, tubular reabsorption, tubular secretion, urine formation, and finally, urine excretion 🚽. Through this complex process, the kidneys filter waste products from the blood, regulate water and electrolyte balance, and produce urine, which is then eliminated from the body 💦. #medcare👍

Did you know it is very rare to have cancer in heart 🙄❤️_ This is why; Primary heart cancer is rare due to the heart's unique biology and immune environment 🧬. Key factors contributing to this rarity include: heart cells having a lower rate of cell division, reducing genetic mutations 🔄; heart tissue being less exposed to external carcinogens 🚭; and the heart's immune environment detecting and eliminating cancer cells 🧹. While primary heart cancer is rare, secondary heart cancer can still occur through metastasis from other cancerous sites 🚨. #medcare👍
