Later today I will publish a special video update about the ongoing seismic activity near Santorini in the Aegean Sea.

Planetary & Seismic Update 5 February 2025 https://youtu.be/UdwMpMM8vs4

We knew that 8 February would be more critical after the lunar conjunction with Jupiter, as explained in the latest forecast video. But the seismic response is larger than we anticipated. Interestingly, we have again a 20 days interval with an atmospheric anomaly, similar to the recent earthquake in China.

#Earthquake M 6.0 SOUTH OF FIJI ISLANDS As pointed out in the latest forecast, the lunar conjunction with Jupiter can result in stronger seismic activity. A M 5.8 earthquake occurred earlier southwest of Sumatra. Some temporal clustering is possible in the next two days.

Felt #earthquake M 5.2 DODECANESE ISLANDS, GREECE The strongest tremor in the ongoing earthquake swarm at the Dodecanese Islands occurred this afternoon. It was reportedly felt by over 90 people in the region. History tells us that the region can experience a magnitude 6 or larger earthquake. But it is not clear if such a threat is imminent. In any case, be on extra alert in the region, just in case.

An earthquake swarm is ongoing at the Dodecanese Islands, Greece. More than 70 tremors with magnitude 3 and larger occurred in the last few days. Strongest shake so far measured M 4.8 this morning. In 1956 a M 7.5 earthquake occurred at the island Thira (Santorini).

Today, Earth is in a conjunction with Venus and Neptune, whereby the Moon conjuncts both planets at the same time. This can result in stronger seismic activity, potentially peaking higher 6 to 7 magnitude around 3-4 February.

Felt #earthquake M 5.1 DODECANESE ISLANDS, GREECE At present, the earthquake swarm is intensifying and tremors are getting stronger. This is the first one reaching magnitude 5. The image shows all magnitude 3+ earthquakes in the last 4 days.
