*Castelnau, SW13* On Saturday 8th February 2025 at approximately 0951 hours at an address on Castelnau SW13, a male working on a building has fallen from scaffolding and sustained serious injuries. HEMS and LAS attended but unfortunately he was declared deceased at the scene. The incident is not thought to be suspicious and Police are making efforts to trace the male’s next of kin. A scene is currently in place and a specialist team along with HS&E are on route to investigate. The scene currently includes a closure of one lane of Castelnau outside the property but, there is still pedestrian access to Hammersmith Bridge. LFB have attended and the scaffolding is confirmed to be secure. If you have any questions or wish to discuss the matter in more detail, please do feel free to contact us through your usual channels. Mortlake & Barnes Common ward SNT will be holding a Street briefing regarding the incident took place on 12/02/25 .Briefing will be held tomorrow in the car park near the play area at the rear of CRAVEN HOUSE.SNT will be there from 1pm
*Mullins Path assault 12/02/25* Officers were called to reports of a fight involving a number of youths in the area of Mullins Path, SW14 on Wednesday 12th February 2025 at approximately 2020hrs. Officers attended and found an injured male at the location, who was believed uninvolved in the initial altercation. They were treated at the scene, and taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service. The victim is now in a stable condition in hospital. An investigation was immediately launched by SW CID officers, who have now arrested 4 suspects. They have been interviewed and bailed to appear at a police station at a later date. Officers have conducted reassurance patrols in the area since the offence, and the local SNt held a street briefing yesterday to provide an opportunity for the local community to speak with officers and ask questions. A male has been arrested and charged with a number of burglaries across Mortlake and East Sheen. The suspect has been remanded in custody and will be appearing in court in the near future.

*Burglar charged* Following an investigation into a series of burglaries across Barnes, Mortlake and East Sheen, a suspect has been identified, arrested and charged. The offences occurred from the beginning of October 2024. Following an investigation by the SW Burglary team, in conjunction with surrounding boroughs, the suspect was identified and has now been remanded to prison until their next appearance at Crown Court in March. James Beharry DOB 28/10/1990 was charged with 8 burglary offences, 7 of which occurred within Richmond across the previously mentioned wards.
