ජාතික ණය සුරැකුම් ආයතනය නිල වශයෙන් මෙහෙයුම් කටයුතු ආරම්භ කිරීම කිරීම අද (02) මෙරට ආර්ථිකයේ කොඳු නාරටිය බඳු ක්ෂුද්‍ර, සුළු හා මධ්‍ය පරිමාණ ව්‍යවසායයන් ශක්තිමත් කිරීමේ අරමුණෙන් ආරම්භ කළ ජාතික ණය සුරැකුම් ආයතනය හෙට (02) නිල වශයෙන් මෙහෙයුම් කටයුතු ආරම්භ කරයි. මුදල්, ක්‍රම සම්පාදන සහ ආර්ථික සංවර්ධන අමාත්‍යාංශය යටතේ ක්‍රියාත්මක වන මෙම ආයතනය මගින් ගනුදෙනුකරුවන්ගේ ව්‍යාපාරිත ණය සඳහා දේපළ ඇපකර මතයැපීම වෙනුවට මුදල් ප්‍රවාහ මත පදනම්ව මූල්‍ය ශක්‍යතාවයක් සහිත ව්‍යාපෘතීන් හඳුනාගනිමින් ආයතනයේ කොටස් හිමි බැංකු හා මූල්‍ය ආයතන වලට ඇප ආවරණයක් ලබා දෙමින්, ඒකී ආයතන ණය ලබා දීම සඳහා දිරිමත් කිරීම සිදු කරයි. ශ්‍රී ලංකා රජය හා මූල්‍ය ආයතන එක්ව ක්ෂුද්‍ර, සුළු හා මධ්‍ය පරිමාණ ව්‍යවසායකයන්ගේ උන්නතිය උදෙසා ජාතික තලය තුළ මෙවැනි ක්‍රමයක් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන ප්‍රථම අවස්ථාව මෙය වේ. සමාරම්භක උළෙල මුදල් හා ක්‍රම සම්පාදන නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ආචාර්ය හර්ෂණ සූරියප්පෙරුම මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් පැවැත්වෙන අතර ආර්ථික සංවර්ධන නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය මහාචාර්ය අනිල් ජයන්ත ප්‍රනාන්දු, කර්මාන්ත සහ ව්‍යවසායකත්ව සංවර්ධන නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය චතුරංග අබේසිංහ, මුදල් අමාත්‍යාංශ ලේකම් මහින්ද සිරිවර්ධන, මහ බැංකු අධිපති ආචාර්ය නන්දලාල් වීරසිංහ යන මහත්වරු සහ ආසියානු සංවර්ධන බැංකුවේ අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජනරාල් Leah Gutierrez මහත්මිය ඇතුළු පිරිසක් මෙම අවස්ථාවට සහභාගී වෙති.

Sri Lanka Cabinet decides to name and dedicate a Sanctuary for Bandula Barb (Fish) *The Bandula barb (Pethia bandula) was first discovered as a new species in 1991 by Dr. Rohan Pethiyagoda. However, the fish itself was originally collected near Galapitamada, Sri Lanka, in 1987 by Ranjith Bandula, an ornamental fish collector, who provided the specimens used for its identification. Rodney Jonklaas also played a role by receiving the holotype from Bandula* *Discovery of the Bandula Barb* The Bandula barb (Pethia bandula), a critically endangered freshwater fish endemic to Sri Lanka, was scientifically described in 1991 by Rohan Pethiyagoda and Maurice Kottelat. However, the story of its discovery involves several key individuals: Ranjith Bandula, an ornamental fish collector, first discovered the species near Galapitamada, Sri Lanka, in 1987. He collected specimens and provided the holotype (the specimen used for the species' formal scientific description) to Rodney Jonklaas, a renowned Sri Lankan marine biologist126. Rodney Jonklaas recognized the fish as potentially new to science and kept it in his aquarium, where it was later observed by Dr. Rohan Pethiyagoda around 1987. Dr. Rohan Pethiyagoda was the scientist who formally described and named the species in 1991, honoring Ranjith Bandula by naming the fish after him.
