Safe Child Uganda (SCU) is a grassroot Community-Based Non-Profit Organization established in 2022. It emerged in response to the challenges faced by children, youth, and women affected by past armed conflicts in northern Uganda, as well as issues related to poverty, food security, and illiteracy. SCU was founded by a dedicated group of recent university graduates from Northern Uganda, with affiliations from Gulu University and Lira University. The organization addresses child abuse, sexual and reproductive health and rights (Youth SRHR), HIV/AIDS education, food security, and climate change, focusing on livelihood challenges in Northern Uganda. Through a multifaceted approach, SCU strives to positively impact the community
