*"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you."* _Matthew 7:6_ _*Treasure what is sacred. Respect what is priceless.**_ *Pointer:* The Lord Jesus Christ referred to some people as dogs and others as swine. The people who are dogs are those who do not appreciate godly things. On the other hand the swine represents people who take precious things for granted; for example a person who claims to be a Christian and delights in committing sin is a swine. Are you swine? The people who render evil for good are also swine. Jesus warns us: _Not everyone values godly wisdom._ *Dogs* dismiss truth, and *swine* trample precious gifts without care. If you claim to follow Christ but delight in sin, are you truly walking in the light— or are you throwing away what matters most? Every day, we make choices: * Do we honour the faith we profess, or do we treat it carelessly? * Do we uplift others, or do we tear down those who bring good into our lives? A life built on truth shines. A heart that rejects wisdom darkens. So ask yourself—what do *you* cherish, and how do you treat it? ----+------+ Would you like to speak more directly to a specific situation feel free to us on this channel? 😉

Through it All I have learnt to Trust in Jesus Christ.

*The Story behind the Song* _*"I have decided to follow Jesus"*_ In 1904 a Welshman ventured halfway across the world to India and he trekked up the mountains towards a remote village in the east. He was told, _*"Go back! The tribe in that village are famously violent"*_ but the Welshman ignored the warnings because even these savage headhunters should have the opportunity to hear about the mercy of God. One Garo Tribesman from the tribe Meghalaya named 'Nokseng' and his family heard the Gospel and received Jesus as their Savior. The good news was too good to keep to themselves and they shared the Gospel with others in the tribe. The chief was very angry and he had the tribesman and his family dragged before the village. "Stop following Jesus!" the chief demanded. The Tribesman replied _*"No I have decided to follow Jesus I am not turning back"*_ The chief was furious and killed the Tribes man's children. "Stop following Jesus!" the chief insisted. The Tribesman replied _*"Though none go with me*_ _*I still will follow, No Turning Back."*_ The chief showed no mercy and he killed the Tribes man's wife. "Now you will stop following this Jesus!" the chief said. The Tribesman looked the chief in the eyes and replied _*"The cross before me, the world behind me, No Turning Back."*_ The chief could not believe his ears and he killed the tribesman. Jesus said if a grain of wheat dies it bears much fruit and that day many of the villagers who witnessed the persecution of that tribesman and his family also decided to follow Jesus - even the chief himself became a follower of Jesus Christ. The Tribes man's last words became the song of the village and today it is sung all around the world. A hundred years later, you still sing this song to church. _*"I have decided to follow Jesus.*_ _*No turning back, no turning back."*_ Do you know that you are singing the words of a dead man who lost his children, lost his wife, and eventually lost his own life for Jesus? How many people have you lost? Some of you might have, but the fact you are reading this means you still have your own life. Why falter in faith when you lose the little things you value on this Earth? Why do you threaten yourself to stop following Jesus when hardships come? Why do you deny Christ’s Lordship over your life when your friends are around? You can lose your job. Lose a loved one. Lose all your friends. Lose an exam. Lose a great opportunity. Lose a romantic interest. You can lose literally EVERYTHING here on Earth, but remember Nokseng and the words he said when he lost everything: "The Cross before me, the world behind me. No turning back." Friends, whether you have decided to follow Jesus this week, last month, last year, or many years ago... *The Broken Cisterns* _*“For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water"*_ Jeremiah 2:13 Many people in the secular world look for life in the wrong places. Believers always need to be on their guard to avoid making this same mistake. Notice this verse begins with “My people. _”They are accused of making to two big mistakes: forsaking the true source of life and looking to alternate sources for meeting their needs._ The people of Jeremiah’s time had forgotten that God is the only true living source of life. Jesus tells us to abide in him so that he can abide in us. By not reading, eating, and living the Word of God, we abandon the source of the living power and nourishment we need to live abundantly in this world. The fallout from abandoning regular reading of the Word is like building broken cisterns that fail to hold water. We run the danger of looking elsewhere for other things to give us the life we are looking for to fulfill us. Jonah learned this truth when he deliberately refused to obey God: _“Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs” (Jonah 2:8, NIV84)._ Grace includes the life of fulfillment that God has for us. By forsaking God and clinging to the false idols of this perishable world, we miss out on the best God has for us. It is good to remember, “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink” John 7:37 He is the source of life and the fountain of living waters. He says, _“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63)._ Today, ask yourself: Have forsaken the Lord to seek after vanity? Who do I look up to for sustainability. Am I looking to Jesus Christ as the source of my life? Answer in praying sincere Prayers and Supplications. _Copyright © KingdomNomics_

*Tales of Africa* Meet Sarki Abba from Kano State Nigeria, the genius that was made to rewrite WASC after scoring 9 distinctions. In 1984, 16 year-old Abba, a student of Science Secondary School Dawakin Tofa, scored 9 distinctions (8 A1s and 1 A2) in his West African School Certificate Examination( WASC) equivalent of today's West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE) Exams. Examination authorities in Lagos didn't believe Abba made those excellent scores without cheating. The authorities provided a car that took Abba to Lagos in order to retake the exam. Abba was made to take the 9 exams in a duration of 3 days, under heavy supervision. After marking the rescheduled exams, he scored 9 A1s (the only ‘A2’ he had in English Language before the retake, now became ‘A1’). Faced with shock, the authorities apologized and instituted the National Merit Award. And, rightfully, Sarki Abba was the first recipient of the award. In 1989/90 school session, Sarki Abba graduated as OVERALL BEST Medical Student, and OVERALL BEST Graduating Student at ABU, Zaria— he was just 21. Today, he is a Professor of Urological Research, and Professor of Urology and Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago, USA. He also serves as Co-Director of Cancer Global Health at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University IL, USA. _#TalesOfAfrica_ https://www.facebook.com/100004626663482/posts/3128904433940415/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v

FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!! Look at that picture again, what do you see? At a quick glance, you see cashew fruits. But on a closer look, you see a snake hiding in the cashew, with it's head ready to strike. Behind every opportunity, is hiding an adversary. Every level has a devil. There's no success without corresponding battle. You must get pass the bees, to harvest the honey. Don't give up, if there's nothing there; the devil won't be fighting it. Fight on, don't flee for Winners never quit and Quitters never win. Remember that 1st Corinthians 16: 9 says "For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries." May God deliver us from all hidden enemies and unfriendly friends.🙏
