Day 03/40 The Blessing Genesis 24:1 “And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had BLESSED Abraham in ALL THINGS.” The word Blessing originates from the Hebrew Berakah. Transliterated to: Divine Favor, Prosperity, God's grace upon individuals, or nations. It is the act of invoking Supernatural Advantage. The blessing is an independent spiritual force that can bring prosperity and favor. Historicity of the Berakah: It was the duty of the Patriarchs, Priests, and Kings, to make blessing pronouncements on special days such as feasts and festivals. These pronouncements have tangible effects on the lives of those who receive them. [Gen 27:27;30, Luke1:42] The Patriarchs, Priests, and Kings, lay hands on their subjects and this causes them to experience the Divine favor brought about by Berakah. [Gen 26:26-27, Acts8:19, 1 Timothy 5:22] When should the Berakah be Conferred. 1. During significant life events such births [Luke 2:34] 2. When entering covenant relationships, such as marriages. 3. During communal worship, [Numbers 6:24] 4. During moments of Divine excitement [Ruth 4:13-14] The effects of the Berakah: The Blessing is as powerful as the words used, The Blessing carries the authority to confer prosperity, protection, and Divine favor, The Blessing is capacited to shape the destiny of future generations, Four types of blessings: -the blessing of the Lord, [Prov 10:22] -the blessing of a Spiritual Parent, [Exo 39:43] -the blessing of the Common Man, [Gen 47:10] -the blessing of a Biological Parent, [Gen 27:4] Do not mistakenly accumulate material possessions without the blessing. This can be dangerous, and very detrimental to your own security and happiness. True prosperity is the byproduct of the blessing, which is anchored in a deep sense of fulfillment and purpose. Day 05/40 The Prophetic Spirit 1 Peter 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. The Prophetic spirit travels into eons and territories seeking for details designed to enable a people group present in the earth to make decisions consistent with what the future looks like. It is ludicrous to think that we can be of any significant advantage in the earth without an expression of the present and future move of God, thus prophecy. God designed that the believer you’re should have the Spirit of the Christ testify of an age to come. In small seemingly insignificant steps He nudges you on to embrace the communication from a dimension of immortality. He reminds you, you’re not from this world; you originate from a superior class of life form. In dreams, visions, promptings, knowings and prophecies; His boundless love and wisdom keeps echoing. Oh that we would pray more! Because it is in prayer that we learn the dealings of God and man more perfectly. Ages ago a class of people known as Prophets arrested by the Spirit of Christ in them went on a search mission, the objective was to locate dates, times and places in which the Spirit in them signaled the sufferings of the Christ; in addition the captured His glory. [Did you know, to every suffering, is a glory? It is a privilege to suffer for Christ. But remember; it’s not a popular opinion anymore]. These prophets located the love of God and comes back into time and testified of the ages to come. Messages have been dispatched from the heavens. Align yourself with the communication from God and prophesy like an Ezekiel that every dead and dry thing is coming back to life. Day 08/40 Spiritual Capital A novice, and a child are alike. They both do not know that it is very costly to raise spiritual capital. They can be reckless with resources that otherwise took years, and tremendous effort to gather. [Never trust a novice with a platform]. Signs of A Novice: -Entitlement -Complaining -Disrespectful -Wastefulness -Inconsistencies -Excuse oriented In His discourse on the sermon on the mount, Jesus says: “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.” Matthew 7:6 He compares the novice to two animals, the dog and the swine. In ancient Israel, both shared something in common, they were considered unclean and thus outcasts from the inheritances of Israel. The danger of the outcast was a lack of training. Spiritual capital must only be invested into people who have sufficiently trained. It is very risky to trust untrained individuals. God cannot invest spiritual capital into you if you shun training, development and are unwilling to demonstrate that you have received training. God is a strategic investor, seeking gain from His investments. Day 06/40 Rehoboth Genesis 26:22 And he removed from there, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land. Shift, make the decision to move. Sometimes God is in the motion. Stagnancy can create a stench, it always creates fights. Isaac moved away, and God met him in the ‘new’. I speak by inspiration and by prophecy; lift your eyes in the place of prayer and see what God is doing in the now and new. Seasons and times are shifting into alignment to the calendar of God. If you remain in the ‘yester’, you will definitely miss the current of God. When you ignore your Altar, you are deliberately choosing to ignore the current of God.
