When a child disobeys their parent, *the relationship is strained*, but the child is still part of the family. It is God's mark of ownership, assurance, and commitment to you. --- 2. *Sin grieves the Holy Spirit, but doesn't drive Him away* > *“Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”* > — *Ephesians 4:30* When we sin, we *hurt our fellowship* with the Holy Spirit, but He doesn’t abandon us.
