New study confirms that the majority of deaths in India are due to non-communicable diseases but they are preventable with a healthy lifestyle. Article in The Hindu today. The good news is that most of these premature deaths are preventable if we control diabetes, blood pressure and lipids (cholesterol). Regular follow up at least three times a year with your diabetologist/ physician is also needed.
