For immediate release Subject: Mayor Cllr Maila pays condolences Sunday 15 June 2025 The Mayor of Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality His Worship Cllr Eddie Maila has visited the family of the late Ward 34 Cllr Lennox Thobela to pay his condolences. The death of Cllr Thobela has sent shockwaves through the Municipality as it was sudden and unexpected. The Mayor has send his condolences to the family and expressed sympathy and call upon Councillors and community members to be compassionate and pray for the family to be consoled to overcome the tragedy. Memorial service will be held on the 19 June 2025 at Moses Mabotha Hall starting at 10h00 and funeral will take place at Bogalatladi village on the 21 June 2025. We rally upon friends, colleagues and community members to give support to the Thobela family by attending the services. His worship Cllr Maila was accompanied by Executive Committee members, Whip of Council Cllr Mphethi and Councillors. May the spirit of our leader and brother rest in eternal peace.
