Commissioner Karachi, Syed Hassan Naqvi, launched a complaint cell at the Karachi Wholesalers Grocery Association office on Monday. The cell aims to prevent profiteering during Ramadan. Chairman Abdul Rauf Ibrahim, Deputy Commissioner Javed Nabi Khoso, and traders attended the event. Speaking to the media, the Commissioner said that the Karachi administration will intensify efforts to prevent price hike during Ramadan and enforce stricly the prices of essentaial food items during Ramzanul mubark.. A complaint cell has been established at the association's office, in addition to existing cells in the Commissioner's office and seven Deputy Commissioners' offices.

Commissioner Karachi along with Houston Karachi and Helping Hands carried out a beach cleaning campaign. The campaign included the over 200 children who participated along with concerned officials. During the event Commissioner Karachi spoke about the effects of pollution on marine life and the environment as a whole.
