*Global Markets - 16th May 2025:* S&P 500 closes higher for a fourth day and Dow Jones & NASDAQ also closed in green. US markets are not in mood to bow down now. The major reason of the strength is of course deals between China and USA which is sending waves of a better trader environment going forward. Giant stocks like Tesla, NVIDIA & Meta are also back in action with huge gains. On the other hand, bond yields have cooled off a bit, but the way Fed Chair is speaking to the markets he is indicating that he would like to go slow on rate cuts. Brent crude is stable near 65 dollars as there is not geopolitical escalation in recent times. *Indian Markets - 16th May 2025:* Another great day of trade in markets and we kept on rising for the day, Broader markets have been fantastically supportive for last few days. the reason of this kind of performance from markets is still unclear but one of the factor which I feel is that the midcap universe has presented better financial results compared to the frontline stocks and that is depicting the underlying strength of our economy. In the initial trade we can see some more fireworks but the fear of profit booking will emerge sometime and a trader must be prepared for this. On the other hand, I feel that the broader markets are stronger compared to frontline and will continue to do so for some more time. *Global Markets - 20th May 2025:* When Tariff issues is settled, now it is Moody’s which has dampened the mood of US markets. But even with a downgrade for the US economy and concerns about the rising debt, Moody’s has not been able to stop a good sentimental rally for US markets. On Monday, The US markets ended up in marginal green even when the futures were trading not so good. Brent crude is near 65 dollars and looking stable there. A fear of global economic slowdown is still not allowing the crude to show some good rally. Though, Moody’s remarks about US economy has supported demand for safe heaven and allowed it to rebound. *Indian Markets - 19th May 2025:* With good global cues, Indian markets might be set for another good day of trade. Friday was a good trading session for US markets where the indices shown good performance in late hours of trade. Leading this forward the Asian markets this morning is in moderate zone with Gift Nifty trading flat. Now when result season is almost over, important indicators for Indian markets will be state of economy and arrival & performance of Monsoon. Summing up the result season we can say that the most of broader markets performed well and that can lead the markets further.
