The global associations of Friends and Families of People with Disabilities, GAffPWD was out to promote, protect and publicize sustainable life and living strategies and means for the world people with disabilities. The idea was muted by Dr. Daodu (Folorunsho Kabir DAODU, DVM) when he came forward to contest the Nigeria presidential election of 2023. The idea was launched to prove to the world that people with disabilities are not ordinary citizens and that they could contribute meaningfully to the peace, progress and development of the world they are in.
