*CONCLUSION from ‘ELEVEN FACTS ABOUT JESUS AND HIS MOTHER (MARY) IN ISLAMIC TEACHINGS’ book* 🔗https://d1.islamhouse.com/data/en/ih_books/single3/en-eleven-facts-about-jesus.pdf The eleven points in this -book- shed light on the personality of Jesus (pbuh) from the Islamic perspective. Splits and conflicts regarding the reality of Jesus’ personality have existed over the last twenty centuries, as Christian teachings were heavily polluted with man-made thoughts and Roman beliefs, causing them to stray far from the inspiration revealed to Jesus (pbuh). These controversies have been cleared away by the teachings of Islam. *A CALL TO REASON* A concluding suggestion: consider what everyone has in common. Come, let us reason together: *{Say: O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you-that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah. But if they turn away, then say: Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].}* (Quran 3: 64) In the noble Quran, *{People of the Scripture}* is the respectful title given to the Jews and the Christians. Muslims are being commanded to invite them with noble and respectful words: *O People of the Book, O learned people, O people who claim to be the recipients of divine revelation of a holy scripture, let us gather onto a common platform: that we worship none but Allah, because none but Him is worthy of worship and because He is our Lord and Cherisher, our Sustainer and Evolver, worthy of all praise, prayer and devotion.* These truths are basic and an integral part of any human being’s intellect. Sort through the layers of indoctrination that hide this simple fact, and one will be able to see that deep down, every human being retains the simple and obvious concept of Allah. In essence, every human being agrees that there is only One God worthy of worship, One God Who is free of partners, helpers, and anything that is ascribed to Him falsely.

'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: *The family of Muhammad (ﷺ) never ate to the fill the bread of barley for two successive days until he died.* [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

*Allāh As-Samad* 🤍 🟢 The Eternal Refuge is the one to Whom all creatures steadfast, that is, resort to Him. 🟢 The One asked for wishes, sought for help in the calamities, and resorted to in the time of disasters. 🟢 The One whom everyone depends to fulfill their needs, but who needs no one and depends upon no one else. 🟢 The one who is Lord, who possesses and disposes of all affairs, one whom people come to with their needs, but who at the same time is complete and self-sufficient, needing and depending upon no one else. 🛑 Allah’s Name AS-SAMAD in Qur'an: 🟢 This name of Allah appears only once in the Quran, in the second verse of the chapter entitled al-Ikhlas: *"Allah , As-Samad (the Eternal Refuge)."* 112:2 🔳 Surat Al-Ikhlas is one of the most important and crucial Islamic texts when it comes to understanding what Muslims believe about Allah. ▪️It supposedly encompasses the very heart and essence of Islamic monotheism. ▪️It was revealed when the people of Mecca asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) to describe to them His Lord. This Surah answers their question and tells them (and us) about Allah. So when the people of Mecca were being told who Allah was, His being as-Samad was mentioned. 🔴 *Why would this be mentioned out of all His attributes❓* 🟢 Because essentially what you need to know is that *Allah is One and Unique*, and also that *He is as-Samad, the Eternal Refuge, that One who is our means and our end*. We go to Him for our desires but we should also ultimately desire Him—this is sincerity (Ikhlas).

*🛑 Allah's Name AS-SAMAD in the Sunna* 🟢 Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), heard a man supplicating, saying, *“O Allah, I ask you by my testimony that you are Allah, there is no God but you, the One, the Eternal Refuge, who does not give birth and was not born, and to whom no one is equal,” (112:1-4).* *The Prophet said, “By the One in whose hand is my soul, he has asked Allah by His greatest name, for which He answers when called upon and He gives when asked.”* Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3745 Grade: Sahih (authentic). 🟢 We should turn to Allah with our hopes and fears, with our worldly concerns as well as our spiritual aspirations, in all matters great and small. ▪️Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him ) said: *“Young man, I will teach you something: Remember Allah and He will remember you. Keep Him in your heart and you will find Him with you. If you beg of someone, beg of Allah. If you rely on someone, rely on Allah.* *Know that if the whole world united in order to provide you with some benefit, they could only benefit you with what Allah has already decreed for you. And know that if the whole world united in order to bring you harm, they could only harm you with what Allah had already decreed to befall you.* *The pens have been lifted from the pages and the ink has dried.”* (At-Tirmidhi) *🔴 What are the Benefits of Knowing This Name of Allah❓* 🟢 When we believe in our hearts that God is Self-Subsisting, needs no one but able to fulfill the needs of all, it becomes natural for us to turn to Him and pin our hopes in Him alone.
