*Why you should set an alarm for Tahajjud right now!* Allāh says, “Indeed, the righteous will be in Gardens and springs, receiving what their Lord will grant them. Before this, they were truly good-doers: *they used to sleep only little at night,* and in the hours before dawn they used to pray for forgiveness. And in their wealth there was a rightful share fulfilled for the beggar and the poor.” (51:15-19).

Remember ’Allāh is ’Al-Ghāniyy (The Rich and Self-Sufficient). →You're weak? Remember ’Allāh is ’Al-Qawiyy (The Strong). →You're a sinner? Remember ’Allāh is ’Ar-Rahmān (The Merciful). →You've made mistakes? Remember ’Allāh is Al-Ghaffār (The Forgiver). →You're distant? Remember ’Allāh is ’Al-Qarīb (The Close). →You've got problems? Remember ’Allāh is ’An-Nasīr (The Helper). →You're feeling low? Remember ’Allāh is ’Ar-Rafī‘ (The One who raises). →You're distressed? Remember ’Allāh is ’As-Salām (The source of peace). → Does your heart feel dead? Remember ’Allāh is ’Al-Muhyī (The Giver of life). →You need to talk? *’Assalāmu ‘Alaykum Warahmatullāhi Wabarakātuhu My Brothers & Sisters* Are you awake now? Did ’Allāh bring your soul back to life? Are you lifting your arm and able to do so? Are you lifting your legs with no difficulty? Do you open your eyes and find yourself where you slept last night? Do you wake up in complete ‘Āfiyah (good health), or have you been suffering from an illness, yet ’Allāh continues to grant you the chance to be on Earth as a Muslim/Muslimah? Do you open your eyes under the umbrella of ’Islām? Do you speak to someone when you wake up and find you can do so? Subhānallāh, why do you think ’Allāh has gifted you with so much grace? Why do you think Almighty ’Allāh is preserving your soul on Earth while some of His servants have been moved to their Qabr (Grave) in the last few hours or minutes, and some will be moved to their Qabr (Grave) in the next few hours as well? 🥹 Yā Rahmān! We pray to ’Allāh to grant us long life in healthy and wealthy. O servant of ’Allāh, you are alive on Earth, and you can still make things right! You are still breathing, and you can make good use of your time! You still have your good health, and you can use it to earn rewards from ’Allāh! Whether you are young or old, you need to keep remembering ’Allāh day and night because you need Him, and He doesn’t need you. You want to attain His Paradise, and you have nothing to offer Him in return. Now, do you think you are benefiting ’Allāh in any way? لا واللّه (No, wallāhi). You need ’Allāh every minute and second of your life, because your breath is from His mercy, which He can take from you at any moment. Subhānallāh, why do you keep deceiving yourself? O servant of ’Allāh, your spouse is beside you in bed, but do you know he or she will run away from you on the Day of Qiyāmah? Your children are with you now, but do you realize they will flee from you on the Day of Resurrection? Similarly, your parents show you love in this Dunyā, but there is another life in the ’Aakhirah; upon seeing your parents, you might run away. O servant of ’Allāh, no matter how great your sins, ’Allāh has promised to forgive you if you seek His forgiveness. He has promised to spare you if you turn back to Him before it is too late. I admonish you to turn back to ’Allāh before it is too late, because once you take your last breath and your body reaches the Qabr (grave), there is no coming back. Wallāhi, give thanks to ’Allāh for bringing you back to life this morning. Remember, you are not better than those who took their last breath in the last few hours, minutes, or seconds. *DO YOU KNOW WHY ALLĀH BROUGHT YOU BACK TO LIFE AFTER YOU HAD SLEPT?* ’Allāh says in Sūratul-Mulk, Verse 2: ٱلّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلْمَوْتَ وَٱلْحَيَوٰةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلاً وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفُورُ "He (’Allāh) is the One who created death and life to test which of you is best in deeds. And He is the Almighty, All-Forgiving." *Sūratul-Mulk; ’Āyah <2>* This is another beautiful morning for you to increase in your *'Istighfār,* *‘ibādāt,* *‘ihsān,* the best of *‘akhlāq,* and more *good ‘a‘māl.* As you wake up, make *Du‘ā after waking up:* *’Alhamdulillāhi Lladhī ’Ahyānā Ba‘da Mā ’Amātanā Wa ’Ilayhin Nushūr.* Stand up, dedicate a few minutes for Tahajjud, and *prepare for Salātus-Subh.* Baarakallāhu Fiikum. *Like* and *share* so more of the servants of ’Allāh can *start their day by earning rewards from ’Allāh, the Almighty.* -‘Uthmān ’Abū Waseemah
