Day 6 of SCSVMV NSS Special Camp at Vaiyavoor Village: Empowering Communities through Awareness and Skill Development February 26, 2025 The sixth day of our special camp was marked by a series of initiatives aimed at empowering the local community and students. We organized an awareness programme on tackling fire accidents, conducted by officials from the Kancheepuram Fire Department, who shared valuable insights on fire safety and first aid techniques. This was followed by a skill development training session facilitated by Assistant Professors from Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Maha Vidyalaya University for students of the Government Primary School in Vaiyavoor. Additionally, a dental camp was held for students of Vaiyavoor Government Primary School and High School, as well as the general public, providing essential dental treatments. These initiatives showcased our commitment to promoting awareness, skill development, and community well-being.

Special Free Medical Camp at SJSACH Campus on 15/02/2025 A special free medical camp was conducted by the PG Dept of Kayachikitsa of Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda College and Hospital, Chennai - Dept. of Ayurveda of SCSVMV on 15/02/2025. The camp, inaugurated by Dr. S. Swaminathan (Dean, Health Science), Dr. GRR Chakravarthy (Vice-Principal-Administration), Dr. P.K. Moharana (Vice Principal-Academics), and Dr. Suvendu Rout (Prof & HOD, PG Department of Kayachikitsa), provided free medical services, including RBS tests, urine analysis, skin disease examinations, insomnia counseling, and medical consultations, to 39 attendees. Patients who met the selection criteria were registered for dissertation clinical evaluation and received free clinical trial drugs. Some attendees were referred to the hospital for further diagnosis and treatment. The medical camp was supervised by Prof. Dr. Suvendu Rout, Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Moharana, along with Dr. Vipin S.G, Dr. Vijayarajaa.P, Dr. Saniya K.K, and Post Graduate Scholars of Kayachiktsa department. The medical camp was a success, providing healthcare services to the community, with overwhelmingly positive feedback.
