HIAS has held over 40 conversation clubs in English and Romanian! These meetings have not only been an opportunity to practice language, but also a celebration of diversity and shared experiences. What made these clubs special was the incredible cultural diversity. We witnessed a wonderful exchange of ideas and traditions, demonstrating how different cultures can harmoniously blend together. Participants shared their integration stories, challenges, and achievements. These conversations were not just about languages—they helped build understanding, break barriers, and create new connections. ❤️ Participants not only improved their English and Romanian, but also gained a deeper understanding of their new country. The clubs focused on integration and employment issues, but some were dedicated to everyday topics. This is an important project that creates opportunities for safe communication and mutual learning.
