Soul's Refuge Oh Jah, hear our humble prayer Grant us strength, we beg of Thee With manna from Mount Zion's height Nourish our souls, in Thy divine light In Thy mercy, pardon our transgressions Stretch forth Thy pity, in loving kindness Guide us on the path of righteousness That we may walk in Thy ways, with gentleness Sit upon Thy throne, oh Jah, we pray Hear our cries, in the morning's ray May Thy love shine upon our faces And fill our hearts with peaceful spaces With every step, may we draw near To Thy divine presence, without fear May Thy wisdom guide us, night and day And keep us safe, on our life's way In Thy love, we find our strength A refuge from life's storms, at length May Thy goodness surround us, like a wall And keep us safe, from harm's dark call Oh Jah, we praise Thy holy name For Thy love, that knows no shame May our hearts be filled with gratitude For Thy mercy, that endures, in eternity May Thy spirit guide us, on our way And keep us close, to Thy loving sway In Thy presence, we find our peace A sense of calm, that the world can't release In the morning sun, may Thy love shine bright And fill our hearts, with joy and delight Oh Jah, we trust in Thee, alone And find our strength, in Thy loving throne
