The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs has announced that the first batch of Qatari pilgrims began returning home on Monday via Qatar Airways and Saudi Airlines. The ministry said returns will continue through Tuesday, with all pilgrims expected back in Qatar by Wednesday. The Qatari Hajj Mission reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pilgrims throughout their journey.

Qatar National Library has launched a calligraphy competition, inviting residents aged 16 and above to submit works inspired by its Heritage Library. Entries using traditional scripts are due by July 20. Public voting on Instagram runs from July 27 July to August 7, with the winner announced on August 13, marking the World Calligraphy Day.
Qatar has strongly condemned the school shooting incident in Austria's Graz city, that left at least 10 people dead and 12 others injured. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, reiterated Qatar's firm stance against violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of their motives or reasons. The Ministry expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Austria, and wished the injured a swift recovery.
