Here's a quick recap of today's closing statistics. 🔼 ASPI: +269.74 points (+1.60%) at 17,087.95 🔼 S&P SL 20: +80.13 points (+1.60%) at 5,099.28 💰 Turnover: LKR 2.50 Bn 📜 Share Volume: 98.864 Mn Shares A total of 177 companies *contributed positively* to the ASPI, while 38 companies *saw declines*. *Among the top positive contributors*, CINS.N recorded a turnover of LKR 64.626 Mn from 20,530 shares traded. SAMP.N, HAYL.N, HNB.N, and COMB.N also made notable positive contributions, supporting market sentiment. *On the downside*, CARG.N led the declines with a turnover of LKR 31.108 Mn from 54,539 shares traded, followed by LIOC, ACL.N, CTC.N and RICH.N which contributed to the downward pressure on the market. *A significant number of trades occurred* on EAST.N and Notable Price increases have been identified from CPRT.N recording a 13.56% increase. *The highest turnover from crossings* today were recorded by HNB.N, with a total transaction value of LKR 250.021 Mn and *highest volume from crossings* recorded by PLC.N with 1.1 Mn shares recorded. _Almas Equities Research_
