OFFICIAL: All fixtures for EPL 25/26 : MUN-LIV to be played on Oct 18 & May 2 The new Premier League season is fast approaching and a fresh milestone in the build-up to the campaign has been reached with all 20 top-flight sides learning their fixture schedules The 2024-25 Premier League season may only have ended last month, but eyes are now firmly fixed on the next campaign. The fixtures for the new season - where Liverpool will look to defend their title crown - have now been released, with clubs knowing who they will face and roughly when. Of course, a sizeable portion of the calendar is subject to the TV scheduling gods so some matches will be shifted about. The timings for matchweek one have been decided, though, and there are some eye-catching fixtures. Reigning champions Liverpool will kick off the new campaign when they host Bournemouth in Friday Night Football on 15 August. Manchester City's visit to Wolves headlines the Saturday, while Arsenal's first game comes in a trip to Manchester United. In fact the Gunners have a nightmare start, also facing Liverpool and City within their first five games. There are no Boxing Day fixtures as it stands, although this could change when the TV fixtures are announced. The final day will come on 24 May, with all 10 matches that day kicking off at 4pm as the title race, European qualification and relegation are decided. #FanaticalClub #FanaticalFootballClub #FanaticalFanClub #WhereWeShootAndYouScore #FFCNewsUpdates #FFCTransferNews https://www.facebook.com/groups/fanaticalfc

EPL 2025/26 fixtures released at 9am on Wednesday - all you need to know! Already looking ahead to the new Premier League campaign? Well there is a big day on Wednesday with the release of next season's fixtures at 9am. You can follow all the drama and find out exactly who your team will be facing on the opening day of the 2025/25 season - and throughout the rest of the campaign - via our live coverage across the Sky Sports app and website, as well as Sky Sports News. You can also watch a live stream of the announcement on SkySports.com, the app and via our social channels. Next season, which will be followed by the 2026 World Cup, will see Arne Slot's Liverpool team look to defend the Premier League title they won so convincingly last time around, with Leeds United, Burnley and Sunderland hoping to buck the recent trend of newly-promoted clubs going straight back down to the Championship. So, what else do you need to know... When does the 2025/26 Premier League season start? The 2025/26 Premier League season will kick off on the weekend of August 16/17, 2025. In previous campaigns, the opening game has taken place on the Friday of the opening weekend, but the final schedule and picks for television broadcast will be revealed on Wednesday morning. That start date is 83 days after the end of the 2024/25 season, which the Premier League says provides the "maximum player rest time". The 2025/26 season will consist of 33 weekends and five midweek match rounds. The Premier League says the schedule "continues to allow more rest time for players over the festive match round period". No two rounds will take place within 60 hours of each other and there will be no fixtures on Christmas Eve. When does the Premier League season end? The final Premier League match round will be played on Sunday May 24, 2026. As usual, all games will kick off at the same time, with the Premier League season concluding just over a fortnight before the 2026 World Cup gets under way. Which new teams are in the 2025/26 Premier League? Leeds United and Burnley gained automatic promotion from the Championship last season, with Sunderland joining them after victory over Sheffield United the Championship play-off final to complete the new line-up of 20 teams. That trio will replace Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town, who were all relegated from the Premier League in 2024/25. When does the 2026 World Cup start? The 2026 World Cup - taking place across the USA, Canada and Mexico - gets under way on Thursday June 11, 2026 in Mexico City. The final will be held in New Jersey on Sunday July 19.
