U.S. CITIZEN CONSULAR SERVICES IN BOQUETE – JUNE 11, 2025 The U.S. Embassy in Panama is pleased to announce that representatives from the Consular Section will visit Boquete to offer limited services. Please review the information below and follow the link provided to request an appointment. We will offer limited U.S. passport renewal and notarial services. These services will be available at the Boquete Library on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 09:00 – 12:00 and from 13:00 – 14:30. Only the following types of consular services will be offered, and appointments must be confirmed in advance: -Passport application for minor (under 16 years old) with a previous U.S. passport -Passport application for first-time adult (16 years and older) with a previous U.S. passport -Replacement of a lost/stolen U.S. passport -Renewal of an adult U.S. passport issued less than 15 years ago -Notarial – submission of a non-applying parent’s consent form (DS-3053) -Notarial – foreign driver’s license validation -Notarial – U.S. social security administration-related services -Notarial – income statement (for Panamanian residency purposes) Please visit the link below to see this full message which provides a link to the appointment request form. PANAMA SECURITY ALERT – CHANGUINOLA, BOCAS DEL TORO PROVINCE – U.S. EMBASSY PANAMA CITY (JUNE 5, 2025) Location: Changuinola, Bocas Del Toro Province Event: Due to the potential for increased civil unrest in Changuinola, U.S. government personnel are required, until further notice, to receive approval before traveling to the district. This applies only to the Changuinola district and does not affect the rest of the province, including the islands of the Bocas del Toro archipelago. Actions to Take: -Avoid areas experiencing civil unrest. -Monitor local media for updates and adjust your travel plans accordingly. -Keep a low profile. -Review your personal security plans. U.S. Citizen Townhall at the U.S. Embassy – June 26, 2025 U.S. Ambassador Kevin Marino Cabrera is pleased to invite interested U.S. citizens to join him, along with representatives from the Consular Section, for a townhall meeting. The townhall will take place in the consular waiting room at the U.S. Embassy in Panama City on Thursday, June 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. To register for the townhall, please use the link below.
