The festival began with Vedic chanting and the offering of Sri Rudram in front of Swami’s chair and silver padukas blessed by Him. The keynote speaker, Dr. Mohan—trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and member of the SSSGC Executive Committee—shared profound experiences with Swami, spoke on faith, healing, and the importance of visiting Prasanthi Nilayam, and answered heartfelt questions from devotees. Sergei Neopolitansky, one of the earliest Russian-speaking devotees to visit Prasanthi Nilayam, shared touching stories of his journey with Sai, the spread of Swami’s teachings in Russian-speaking countries, and the early translation efforts of Baba’s literature. The satsangs were followed by a vibrant spiritual concert by the Prema Nilayam group from Saratov, whose bhajans and original compositions filled the hall with joy and divine energy.
