A six-nation Arab ministerial meeting in Cairo has strongly opposed the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza and reaffirmed the call for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Held on Saturday at Egypt's invitation, the meeting included representatives from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Palestine, and the Arab League.
A joint statement was issued, emphasising the need for a just and lasting peace in the Middle East.
The participating countries strongly condemned any efforts to violate the inalienable rights of Palestinians, including settlement expansion, forced evictions, demolitions of homes, land annexations, or any actions that promote the displacement or removal of Palestinians from their land.
The statement also expressed support for cooperation with US President Donald Trump's administration to pursue a comprehensive peace in the region based on the two-state solution.
