Hello We are pleased to invite you to a webinar presenting the interim results from “TB ALGO PED study – Diagnostic performance and feasibility of implementing two new treatment decision algorithms for pulmonary tuberculosis in children”. The Test, Avoid, Cure TB in Children (TACTiC) project aims to implement the new WHO recommendations, including treatment decision algorithms for pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) in children and shorter curative treatments for non-severe, drug-susceptible TB, in MSF supported projects in Africa and Asia. In addition to implementation, the project includes advocacy and operational research components. Within this framework, the TB ALGO PED study aims to assess the diagnostic performance and the feasibility and acceptability of implementing the new treatment decision algorithms in 5 countries: Niger, Nigeria, Guinea, Uganda and South Sudan. his webinar will present interim results of the TB ALGO PED study and will provide an opportunity to discuss preliminary lessons learnt and next steps.
