GRACE MOUNTAIN MINISTRY PUSH DAY 4 23rd January 2025 *OH LORD, DELIVER ME FROM WRONG PURSUITS* Psalm 27:4 KJV _One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple._ What drives a person is whatever desire he or she has in the heart. It is natural to have a person seeking after his unique desire. Desire determines attitude, direction, sacrifices, efforts, and pursuits. Wrong desires lead to the wrong lifestyle. Three desires were the driving force of David's life: to dwell in the house of God, to behold His beauty or glory, and then to enquire of Him. The man's desire was not to dwell in his palace but in the place consecrated to God, to see God, and to speak to God continuously. And He sought after this desire all the days of his life. May be this is the real reason why God said I have found David my servant, one after my own heart. God found a man whose greatest desire was to be in His presence, to look upon Him, and to speak with Him continuously. In short, God was David's desire. Being in God's presence, knowing God, and then praying to Him. What is your desire? It determines what you seek after. Pour out your heart to the Lord today. Allow the Holy Spirit to deal with wrong desires and then release into you divine desires that will give you life-changing drives from today. Let's Pray - My Father, thank You that You have made Yourself available to be my desire and what I can seek after in Jesus' name. - Holy Spirit motify the negative desires of my flesh today in Jesus' name - Holy Spirit release in me a hunger for my Lord Jesus, to know Him and to dwell in His Presence always like You did in David in Jesus’ name - My Father deliver me from any time and destiny wasting pursuits in Jesus name.
