The BJP, which registered a historic victory on Saturday, has had three chief ministers: Madan Lal Khurana, Sahib Singh Verma, and Sushma Swaraj during its previous rule between 1993 and 1998. Swaraj, who was the first woman to occupy the role, had the shortest term, lasting just 52 days.
