Arakku and surrounding Valleys in Andhra have been the coldest place this winter in South India. You can observe that it is not the hills that are coldest. It is the valley (light shaded) locked in between the mountains that are the coldest. Why ? because cold air is dense and heavier than warm air and at early morning, these dense air come down from the mountain and occupy the valley making it colder in the valleys. Lambasinghi data is not available. It should been more colder than other places.
