With reference to NPCI Circular No.NPCI/UPI/OC No.193-C/2024-25 dated January 9,2025 Marker Participants/UPI Ecosystem Players are hereby informed that, it has been decided by National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI), not to allow any special characters in UPI transaction ID. It has been mentioned in circular that any transaction with ID containing special characters shall be declined by the central system , w.e.f. February 1, 2025
