Shri. Surjit Bhujabal, Special Secretary & Member (Customs) visited Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Mumbai and interacted with officers of customs, port authority and major stakeholders. He witnessed operations at port terminals of Nhava Sheva and also Karanja minor port. He deliberated with various stakeholders and government agencies for ideas to further improve efficiency of EXIM operations, process digitization, container scanning, customs warehousing, transshipment by train and liquid bulk imports.
