💥Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, his wife Susan Ndung’u, and two others have been found guilty of corruptly receiving funds from Kiambu County in a KSh 588 million roads tender scandal.
However, the court acquitted them of money laundering charges, ruling that there was insufficient evidence to support the allegations.
The prosecution had accused Waititu and his co-accused of irregularly awarding tenders and receiving kickbacks through companies linked to them.
