_News_ | *183 Palestinians freed from Israeli prisons* 👇 Convoys of Palestinian detainees left Israeli prisons today as part of the fifth prisoner exchange. A total of 183 prisoners were freed, including 54 from the West Bank—18 sentenced to life imprisonment and 54 serving long sentences—as well as 111 detainees arrested by Israel in Gaza after the Al-Aqsa Flood operation. Seven of the released prisoners will be deported outside the Palestinian territories: Ahmad Al-Jaafreh, Abdul Azim Hassan, Imad Abu Ajamiya, Falah Shehadeh, Montaser Abu Ghalioun, Mansour Abu Aoun, and Youssef Eskafi. The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that six of the released prisoners were transferred to hospitals for treatment due to serious health conditions. Meanwhile, several former detainees reported being beaten just minutes before their release.
