Now Accepting Applications for Undergraduate Summer Internships -- Mississippi State University's Dept. of Sustainable Bioproducts is hosting paid summer internships for up to 8 undergraduates May 28 - August 1, 2025. Each intern will be paired with a faculty mentor and work on a research project in sustainable bioproducts. Past projects have included topics such as renewable materials, bio-composites, bio-oil, bio-energy pellets, wood protectants, forest products trade, forensic wood identification, and others. Compensation includes complimentary housing in university residence halls, a meal allowance and a weekly stipend. Funding is provided by USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture's Research and Extension Experiences for Undergraduates (REEU) program.
