The Journey of Asra Saleem: From Failure to Triumph🏆
My name is Asra Saleem, the proud second position holder of MDCAT 2024. 🔮Since childhood, I have consistently excelled academically, securing top marks from nursery to FSC. My matriculation and FSC journeys were marked by scholarships that I earned through dedication and hard work.✨
However, the path to my dreams wasn't as smooth as it seemed. My first setback came when I failed to clear the MDCAT in my first attempt due to the lack of proper guidance. But instead of getting despaired, I gathered myself, fueled my determination, and gave my best this time.✨
Despite my efforts, something diff was written in fate. In the exam, I struggled with stress management, which led me to make errors while filling the answer bubbles. These small mistakes cost me dearly—I scored 167 out of 200, resulting in an aggregate of 89.5. I was on the brink of success but fell short, all because of those bubbles.☹️
For a student who always secured top marks ,the pain of failure was unbearable and just bcz of not being able to manage stress. For almost a month, I struggled with depression, confined to my bed, mourning my failure . It felt like my world had come to a standstill.🥹
During this dark period, my father became my beacon of light. He scolded me but with love, reminding me of my faith. “Don’t you believe in Allah? How can you call yourself a Muslim without trust in His plans?” his words impacted me significantly and made me question my faith .✨🪻 I realized that everything happens for a reason, and Allah’s plans are always better than ours.❤🩹
This turning point refuled my spirit. I stood up, analyzed my mistakes from the past two years, and tried my best to eliminate every flaw in my preparation. I poured every ounce of my energy into improving myself, leaving no stone unturned.🌷
And finally, Alhamdulillah🩵, my perseverence paid off. I've got 198 marks in mdcat 2024 and I am now a proud student at my dream college, King Edward Medical University🌟. My success came after walking through a path filled with thorns, but every step was worth it.❤🩹
Alhumdulillah ✨🪻
