العزم على فعل الأوامر وترك النواهي يحتاج إلى صبرٍ على شهوات النفس وأهوائها، ومُغرِيات الحياة ومُلهِياتها ﴿أُولئِكَ يُجزَونَ الغُرفَةَ بِما صَبَروا وَيُلَقَّونَ فيها تَحِيَّةً وَسَلامًا﴾.
Determination in obeying commands and avoiding prohibitions requires patience in resisting the desires of the self, its whims, the temptations of life, and its distractions. “It is they who will be rewarded with the highest place (in Paradise) for their patience; there they will be met with greetings and peace.”
