Scammers may impersonate ICA/SPF officers or foreign law enforcement officials, accuse victims of being involved in criminal activities and pressure victims to transfer money, share personal/banking details or meet in person for “investigations” or “bail”. 😡
Victims may even be forced into staging fake abductions for ransom.
Remember:
⚠️ Foreign authorities have no legal power in Singapore.
🚫 Never transfer money, share your personal/banking details or meet unknown individuals for such requests.
📞 If approached, call the Police immediately.
