GANGAA, FRIDAY 7TH FEBRUARY #blastersseries Shiv exchanges his plate with Aashi. Radhika tells him not to eat as rice is not good, but he still eats. He finds it very spicy but continues eating, thinking Ganga has cooked for the first time. Later, he leaves. Radhika follows him and gives him water. She admits that she was behind all this, as she wanted to trouble Aashi. She apologizes for it. He explains to her that she shouldn’t do things like this that can hurt others. She knows Aashi can’t eat spicy food. Radhika says she won’t do it again. Ganga overhears all of this. Radhika questions Shiv why he continued eating even after finding it spicy. He says he insulted Ganga for no reason and would have hurt her more if he rejected food made by her. He tells her to go and eat. Radhika goes. Shiv sees Ganga standing there. He tells her he would never be able to give her Parvati’s place but promises he will never disrespect her again. Chachi is cleaning up when Radhika comes and says she still has to eat. Chachi tries to find out what happened earlier. Radhika says the food was not good, which is why Shiv left in the middle. She tells her everything—that she made the food spicy so Aashi would get angry at Ganga, but Shiv ate it. She says it’s all her fault. Chachi fumes, turning her against Ganga, saying it was Ganga’s mistake. She could have removed some rice from Aashi’s plate instead of exchanging it. Ganga comes with food for Radhika. Radhika gets angry and says she doesn’t want to eat because the food is not good. She leaves. Radhika is crying and talking to Parvati’s photo. She says she will get lonely if Ganga snatches Shiv away from her. While sleeping, Jumki kicks Pratap off the bed. Her husband gets mad. She apologizes to him. Someone knocks on the door—it’s Shiv. He tells Pratap to come outside as he wants to talk. Jumki wonders what Shiv wants to talk about. Shiv tells Pratap there are mistakes in the accounting. Pratap checks and says everything looks okay. It’s just a 1000-2000 rupee difference. Pratap says that even one rupee matters to him and says he will find out. He gets a call that Chotu is sick and leaves to see him. Pratap says tomorrow will be Shiv’s last day, and after that, he will take his place. Later, when Shiv returns late at night, Daima tells him he didn’t eat anything and asks him to eat before sleeping. He says he is not hungry. Ganga comes, and Daima tells Ganga to give food to Shiv, but he says he is not angry and asks them to sleep. He leaves. Daima tells Ganga that she doesn’t know what Shiv punishes himself for after Parvati left. She tells Ganga to eat something as well, since she didn’t eat either. Ganga also refuses. In the morning, Jumki complains that she has to do all the work, even after the new bahu came. Pratap comes there. Jumki asks why he got so ready—he won’t be getting any attention. Pratap tells her to do her work and says time will tell who is the “king”—him or Shiv. Shiv is talking to his father’s photo. He takes blessings from him and says he will never be like him, but he will fulfill all his responsibilities, especially the responsibility for Ganga that his father gave him before passing away. Ganga is getting ready, and Daima is helping her. Ganga has some rough memories from her past as she puts on the mangalsutra, sindoor, etc. Daima gives her a necklace and says everyone will recognize her as the badi bahu. Daima goes for some work. Ganga struggles to close the hook of the necklace. Shiv comes and sees her struggling. He says he will send someone to help. Ganga says they don’t have time and asks him to do it. Hesitantly, he helps her. Daima smiles, seeing them. Shiv helps Ganga with the hook and then starts to leave. Ganga thanks him. He stops and says she is looking pretty in that sari. Radhika is not happy seeing this. She recalls Jumki’s words that Ganga is very cunning and is trying to make Shiv hers. She thinks Ganga wants to look pretty so Shiv praises her, but she won’t let that happen. Amma wants Shiv to lose confidence in himself, which would make their win easier. Pratap tells her not to worry. Radhika plans to drop cold water on Ganga so her makeup spoils, and she won’t look pretty while the family is doing last-minute preparations. Amma tells Ganga to get something from outside. Radhika is ready to drop the water. Jumki says Ganga is trying to impress Amma too, but she won’t let that happen. She tells Ganga that she will go and get it. Water gets dropped on her instead. Radhika is shocked to see Jumki instead of Ganga. All the family members come there. Radhika runs away. Ganga sees her and goes to her. She tells Radhika that what she did was wrong. Shiv told her not to do such silly things, yet she didn’t listen to him. Radhika asks, "So what? Are you going to complain to him?" Ganga replies that she won’t do anything like that. She’s just telling her what she’s doing is wrong. The whole family is doing puja. Daima is happy for Shiv. After the puja, Amma is about to put the pagdi (turban) on Shiv’s head when a villager comes in and says Shiv doesn’t deserve the pagdi. He killed his innocent child. Everyone is shocked. The villager says Shiv gave medicine to his child, after which his health worsened and he died before they could do anything. Shiv explains that he gave an ayurvedic medicine, so it’s impossible for it to cause harm. He wants to check the child, but the parents don’t let him touch the child and tell all the villagers that Shiv doesn’t deserve this position. They leave. Ganga looks at the child’s face and says it’s Chotu. Amma does drama and tells Shiv what he has done. Shiv has nothing to say and leaves, stunned. Pratap and Amma smile at each other. The family returns home and has a discussion. Kushal says they should have at least checked the child. How could they just believe what the villagers said? Amma says, "What would happen by seeing the child? Would he come alive again?" Jumki says since Ganga has come to the house, one thing after another has happened to them. They all leave except Ganga and Daima. Ganga says she can’t believe no one, except Kushal, trusts Shiv. No one is thinking about him. The family should help each other, especially during bad times, but here, nothing like that is happening. Daima asks Ganga whether she trusts Shiv. She replies that from what she has seen of him working, she doesn’t think he could do such a thing. Daima tells her to go and talk to Shiv; he must be sitting beside Parvati’s photo. Ganga goes to Shiv. He’s talking to Parvati’s photo, blaming himself for killing an innocent child. He feels he has disappointed her, his father, and everyone. He believes he’s not worthy of the respect the villagers give him. He feels like he’s ruined everything. Ganga feels bad for him. Kushal comes in and tells Ganga that Shiv has always thought about others, and now this? Last night, he got a call that a child was sick, and Shiv went to help him late at night. Ganga says it sounds strange that ayurvedic medicine killed someone. Kushal replies that it’s impossible. Shiv’s medicine works like magic. He mixes it in milk. Ganga recalls Chotu telling her that someone (whose name he didn’t know) gives him medicine in milk daily, and it tastes very bitter. Ganga feels something is not right and decides to restore Shiv’s respect, no matter what.
