Story Even though you didn’t make it to the end of my story I’ll always keep our chapter folded I’ll always wish I could have stopped time waited at our chapter so it could have ended in a different manner or that we could hold on, to just those moments Take a photograph it time with no regrets Where your eyes always glowed Where our hearts were never broken Go back to the pages where we sat on the porch and talked Back to when your eyes were home When your eyes were peace That beautiful brown that somehow made my heart skip a beat That beauty that surpassed it all when the sunlight hit your eyes And even though you didn’t make it to the end of my story I’ll always keep our chapter folded I’ll always come back to it, defying everything I’ve been told Cause it’s a future that ill always want to hold A chapter of memories laughs,smiles,tears,anger, all worth it Without a second thought without a slither of doubt I’d do it all again I’d go through the pain I’d break my heart just to have another chapter with you Just look into your eyes again Just to show you what love feels like I’ll always open this chapter and reread it hoping it suddenly becomes a reality But hey even though you didn’t make it to the end of my story I’ll always keep our chapter folded I’ll always hold out hope you’re coming back So I can rip out every last page I’d written after and we could start from where we left off Forget the past and make memories like you never left I’ll always hold out hope for that future in this life or the next But if you happen to go first I’ll ask God to have visiting hours because I’ll need angel by my side So we could laugh, we could smile and I could see those eyes one more time So even though you didn't make it to the end of my story I'll always keep our chapter folded the good, the bad, the messy cause it's all worth it.
