Based on your year of passout, position yourself effectively for getting shortlisted for interview. Few tips: - When looking for freshers, the primary focus is on past 2 years of passout. So 2025 & 2024 would be top priority. - Depending on your year of passing, decide whether in your resume you should try as fresher for fresher openings, or put experience & try as experienced openings. All 2025 & 2024 pass-out, - Aggressively target for both fresher & internship opportunities. - In parallel continue strong preparation into 5 areas (mentioned below) All 2023 passout - For next 3-6months, hunt aggressively target both fresher & internship. - Mandatory become very strong in 5 Preparation areas - If more time is passing, and not getting much calls, then start applying the techniques used by 2022 or earlier members. All 2022 or earlier passout members: - Even trying for fresher & internship will not get much opportunities. - You should position yourself, as you already have experience in your resume. And hunt for experienced position jobs. - You can gain experience by doing, open-source, non-profit, freelancing, or paid working opportunities. - Get into something mentioned above, have document to prove that, and then add in your resume that currently you are experienced, doing this. And accordingly hunt for experienced position. - Mandatory strong preparation in 5 areas needed. ======================= 2. Decide how many role-specific resumes will you create while jobhunting - Your resumes should be relevant for the position your are applying for. - If you are applying for java position, then your resume from top to bottom, should be java focused. Skills, projects, everthing. - Like wise, if you have frontend, or fullstack skills. then you should create multiple resume, one representing each of the role that you are planning to apply. - While shortlisting, generally companies consider people, who has already worked in the role, where you are applying for. - Think smartly & hunt job, in right way. - Come up with a plan, of how your further jobhunting will happen. 3.
